Well that didn't take long at all!
Following a good natured chat with Mr B yesterday lunchtime it's all officially come to a stand still. It was all very friendly and nice. I think the next time I tell a guy we won't be getting naked together any more I want them to start screaming "Noooooooooo!" and start tearing out their hair. That would be a nice change. Rather than giving me a cuddle and being far too fine with it.
I have set him a challenge to spend two weeks at some point assuming that every woman he talks to fancies him so that he will get more action and realise that some girls do come onto him (once apparently he was in bed with a girl who was down to her pants and draping herself all over him and he thought she was just being friendly). Useless.
We hung out last night with the amazing Jen Star - I finished work at 9pm and headed down to the theatre where a series of short scenes were being performed and which Jen and Mr B had been part of the audience for. Among these shorts happened to be a dark and horrible little piece written by my own fair hand which I haven't seen or even read since I handed the thing in about 2 months ago.
It's a strange thing being praised for something you keep forgetting you'd done - almost like taking credit for something that's not yours. People were very nice about it - especially Mr B in fact, which left me really chuffed as his writing is incredibly good (he showed me a few chapters he'd written a while ago recently and they are amazing) and he likened it to one of his favourite playwrights (Sarah Kane if you're wondering - fucked up beyond measure). Being compared to a depressed playwright who killed herself at 28 has put me in a damn jolly mood.
